If we look at the anatomy of krill it is very similar to that of prawns. … Therefore, due to the similarities between them prawns and krill should have the same ruling and thus would be permissible to consume. Based on the above we do not see any reason to prohibit the use of krill oil.
It is clear from the above definition that the anatomy of Krill is not the same as that of fish; therefore it would not be permissible for a person to consume Krill since it does not fall under the classification of a fish.
To say its similar to shrimp is not enough because for exceptions we have to stick to the ones mentioned in the narrations.
